KARA’s Park Gyuri spoke out about the her vocal cord surgery after her operation.

Gyuri tweeted “Why are my vocal cords so stressed? I’m afraid to even voice a sound.” Later she added, “I’m already crying this early in the day. Agh..”

Gyuri was diagnosed last November and completed her surgery on February 21st. She has halted all her schedules to recover.

On February 28, an episode of SBS's Strong Heart featured miss A's Suzy and Min was broadcasted. In the episode Suzy talked about her kissing scenes, "Even thought I'm not completely an adult yet, but I have already shot four kissing scenes. There was one kissing scene that made her nervous the most, it was with Kim Soohyun."

She added, "I shot kissing scenes with 2PM's Taecyeon and Wooyoung, and actors Lee Jaehoon and Kim Soohyun. When I shot a kissing scene with Kim Soohyun in the bus, and he even taught me a good angle."

She made everyone laugh out loud by saying, "Soohyun oppa and we text each other often. Kim Soohyun oppa who plays lead on "The Moon that embraces the Sun", sent me text messages like as if he is still in a historical drama." Which means that he write text messages in the ancient Korean honorific language.

Davichi‘s Lee Hae Ri ranked 2nd, and Brown Eyed Girls‘ Jea came in 3rd.

In addition, IU (although not a girl group member) came in 4th followed by Girls’ Generation leader Taeyeon who came in at 5th.

The ranking wasn’t only based on their vocal talent, but also those that could best express the music in their own style and also the style within their respective groups.

On February 26th’s ‘Inkigayo‘ hosted by the beautiful ladies IU, Nicole, and Goo Hara, resident MC IU made a silly mistake when it was time to announce the winner. IU announced ‘Se7en congratulations!’, when in fact it was F.T. Island who claimed today’s mutizen award. Luckily, Nicole and Goo Hara quickly re-announced that today’s winner was indeed F.T.Island.

Sandara Park and SHINee, who are both endorsers of the cosmetics brand, Etude House, have come together for the romantic, fantasy web drama, “Kiss Note,” which has become a hot topic. In the web drama teaser released recently, it was revealed that each of SHINee‘s Jonghyun, Key, Taemin, and Minho each had four different kinds of kissing scenes with Sandara Park.

Etude House reveals that it will endeavor to step out of the box of traditional advertising formats, and have conceptualized the web drama concept starring Sandara Park and SHInee. It has especially gained response from women who say that they have dreamed of being kissed romantically, in different ways, as was shown in the teaser.

Also, since 2NE1′s Sandara Park, and SHINee’s Minho, Key, Taemin, andJonghyun, are all very popular idol stars both in the domestic and international scene, fans and netizens alike, have all gotten excited over the romantic kissing scenes.

Ever since Etude House’s YouTube channel uploaded the official teaser, there was an explosive reaction, as views and comments kept coming in from surprised, delighted, and jealous fans and netizens.

Meanwhile, Sandara Park and SHINee‘s drama, “Kiss Note,” is set to be officially released on YouTube, on March 1.

DooJoon thrusted his hand out to GaYoon. "Take it." he demanded, as a white bag dangled from his fingers. GaYoon stared at DooJoon. "Why?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "Just take it." DooJoon said, stretching his arm out farther. GaYoon rolled her eyes. "If you aren't going to tell me why, I'm not going to take it." GaYoon replied, as she started to walk away. "Wait!" DooJoon exclaimed, suddenly. "Take it!" he said, once again. GaYoon stared at him, her eyes boring holes through him. "There's probably a snake in that bag. Or something you know I hate." GaYoon implied, as she looked at the bag. DooJoon sighed. "Just take the bag already. Before I change my mind!" DooJoon declared. GaYoon made a big show of sighing loudly, and then slowly grabbed the pink ribbon handles of the bag. "Happy?" she asked. He nodded, before scurrying away. "What's with him?" GaYoon wondered, as she stared at the bag. "Eh. I'll open it later." GaYoon told herself, before leaving the practice room.

"Yah, DooJoon." JunHyung said, kicking DooJoon's leg. DooJoon looked at JunHyung. "What?" he asked. "Why do you look so happy?" JunHyung wondered. "JunHyung, did you get Hara anything for Valentines Day?" DooJoon suddenly asked. "Yeah. Roses." JunHyung replied. "Did she buy you chocolate?" DooJoon asked. JunHyung nodded. "Yes. Why do you ask?" JunHyung wondered. "Just wondering." DooJoon replied, as he leaned back on the couch. JunHyung examined DooJoon. DooJoon was grinning like an idiot, and he rested the back of his head on his hands. JunHyung shrugged, and then continued to watch the movie.

GaYoon waited until she was left in 4Minute's dorm all by herself. SoHyun and Hyuna went to sing in the vocal practice rooms, while JiYoon and JiHyun were out eating together. GaYoon examined the outside of the bag DooJoon had given her. It was a basic gift bag, it was made of gleaming white paper, and had two, thick pink ribbon handles. GaYoon cautiously lifted out the pink tissue paper, expecting something to jump out at her. GaYoon saw a white box, and a yellow post-it note on the box. "I know you like me, so I bought you chocolate to give to me on Valentines Day. -DooJoon Oppa." was written on the post-it. GaYoon scoffed. "I totally do not like DooJoon!" GaYoon exclaimed, knowing all too well that this was a lie. GaYoon pouted. "I'm not going to let him push me around like this!" GaYoon declared, as she stood up, clutching the box in her hands.

GaYoon knocked on the door, loudly. "No one's here!" she heard DooJoon scream. GaYoon knocked, even louder this time. She heard DooJoon walk to the door. "What do you-" "Yah!" GaYoon screamed, as she stormed into Beast's dorm. DooJoon closed the door. He looked at GaYoon. "What?" he asked. GaYoon held up the box of chocolates, and DooJoon grinned. "I don't like you, and I won't accept this chocolate!" GaYoon screamed, holding the chocolate out to DooJoon. "But if I accept the chocolate, that means you like me." DooJoon said, as he stepped closer to GaYoon. GaYoon rolled her eyes. "You're trying to trick me into telling you that I like you, aren't you?" she asked, raising her eyebrows. DooJoon smirked. "Maybe. Because I know you do." DooJoon said. GaYoon gave DooJoon her most smoldering stare. "You're really-" "Don't say it. I know, I'm charismatic and charming." DooJoon implied, smiling. "Just tell me you like me." DooJoon proclaimed. GaYoon scoffed. "You know I don't like you." GaYoon retorted. "Tell me you like me." DooJoon said, stepping closer. "Yah. Why do you even care if I like you? You don't even like me, so why are you making such a big deal?" GaYoon wondered. DooJoon smiled. "I like to play with you, and I know you like me." DooJoon replied, shrugging. "Is YoSeob here?" GaYoon wondered, suddenly. DooJoon was taken aback. "Y-yeah. He's with the guys." GaYoon stood up, and DooJoon followed her as she searched for YoSeob. She located YoSeob, he was watching KiKwang and DongWoon play a game on the television. "YoSeob, do you want chocolate?" GaYoon asked. YoSeob quickly looked at GaYoon. "Chocolate?" he asked, smiling. GaYoon nodded. "Hyuna gave this to me, but my stomach hurts, so I can't eat it. Do you want it?" YoSeob nodded, and GaYoon handed him the chocolate. GaYoon grinned, and walked out of the dorm.

GaYoon arrived at her dorm, and was surprised to see roses at the door. She picked the roses up, and read the card. "Dear GaYoon, I just wanted to let you know that I like you too."

On February 24th, Jun Hyung posted a short tweet onto his Twitter, “Yoon game-dol” along with the picture above.

In the photo, Jun Hyung is seen resting on a bed at a hotel taking pictures, whereas Doojoon is laying down on the bed next to him and is concentrating on his laptop.

On the 24th of February, SJ's Siwon and Ryeowook went to Inha University for the graduation ceremony. They finally graduated after 6 years of studying.

Ryeowook graduated from Dukwon Arts High School and studied in Inha University (where Siwon is studying) to continue his studies. Both of them majored in Theater and Cinema.

After their graduation ceremony, Ryeowook immediately updated his Twitter by tweeting “ I’ve graduated~~>< Thank you to all the professors, asisstant noonas, seniors, and juniors~~ Eventhough I can’t confidently say that I’m a qualified graduate like the others, (because) I couldn’t do the activities on campus, but I’ve been always an Inha student at heart. Lastly, thank you for Professor’s words. I won’t forget it^^ “

Of course, Siwon who is also active on Twitter tweeted "I’m gonna move forward to the larger world..with a bigger dream.. I’m proud to be a student of Inha University^^".

On the 21st, Etude House revealed some eye-catching behind-the-scene cuts of SHINee and Sandara Park’s web drama, “Kiss Note,” on its official YouTube channel. The video revealed that the shoot was done during a day when it was -10 degrees. It also revealed some difficulties of the cast and the staff while shooting in difficult weather conditions.

The drama especially contains sweet and cute scenes for the love lines. The exciting kissing scene cuts of Minho and Sandara Park, were especially attention-grabbers. The petite build of Sandara Park in the arms of the tall and strong stature of Minho, elicited an atmosphere like that of a real couple, although he is seven years her junior.

The first of the CFs for webdrama, “Kiss Note” starring Sandara Park and SHINee is set to be released on March 1, in Etude House’s official YouTube channel.

On the February 21st episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Win Win‘, the members admitted, “While we were preparing for our debut, Yoseob and Junhyung hyung were nearly kicked out of the group.”

“Before our debut, B2ST’s concept was to be fierce and masculine,” Yoseob began. “But I was thin and on the shorter side, so my image didn’t really fit in with the image the company was preparing. While I was rehearsing, I received notice that I would have to quit the group.”

“Before I left, I decided to film a video of all of us just comfortably goofing around,” he continued. “Senior Rain happened to see this video and said, ‘This kid plays well. Why are you cutting him? Don’t drop him’, and recognized my potential. I earned a second chance after that, thanks to him,” reminiscing and revealing his grateful heart towards Rain.

Yong Junhyung also shared, “I knew that I would be cut a week before I heard the news, by chance I happened to see the notes of a staff member, and it was written that I would be dropped.” He went on to state that he was able to join the group later thanks to the other members.

Member Jang Hyunseung opened up about his days training under YG Entertainment to debut with Big Bang, which grabbed high attention from his fans.

“I auditioned to become a member of Big Bang, and even became a finalist,” he said. “In the end, it came down to me and Seungri but I got cut.”

When asked if he grew envious of Big Bang once they became successful, he answered, “I was envious after they became successful. If I did better, I think we could have even been a six-member group.”

“But I did not want to force myself in between the members who were exceptionally talented,” he honestly said.

“How did Big Bang react when you received unending love and support with 4minute‘s HyunA as ‘Troublemaker‘?”, the MCs asked again, and Hyunseung who still keeps in contact with the Big Bang members remarked, “As soon as I called them, they began humming the melody to our song.”

Fans have been worrying about KARA‘s Gyuri after they heard she’d be undergoing surgery to remove the nodule and polyps found in her vocal cords. It seems they can breathe a sigh of relief, as Gyuri left an encouraging message on Twitter to assure fans that she was alright.

On February 22nd, the singer tweeted, “My people, the surgery ended well. Due to the the anesthesia, I was asleep all day yesterday, so I wasn’t able to leave a message. I’ll try to recover quickly so that you’ll be able to hear my good voice. Thank you for worrying about me.”

Although Gyuri had known about the nodules and polyps way beforehand, she held off on her surgery in order to participate fully in the musical, ’200 Pounds Beauty’, as well as perform in the first few shows of the ‘KARASIA’ concert series.

B2ST member Junhyung‘s father was asked which girl group member he would approve of as his daughter-in-law, and he selected KARA‘s Goo Hara, who happens to be Junhyung’s current girlfriend.

On the February 21st episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Win Win‘, Junhyung’s father remarked, “I thought a lot about this question. Junhyung once brought Goo Hara home, and I thought that she was a nice and bright girl. It’s nice to see how cute they are together.”

In regards to his son’s public relationship he remarked, “I was pretty surprised in the beginning. Once the news got out, it was all over the internet. I was a little bit concerned.”

Junhyung who became a bit embarrassed joked, “I should never have been caught,” causing the other guests on set to roar in laughter.

“Blue” is a mellow mid-tempo track that sings of rejuvenation in the face of accepting sorrow and loss. It’s the perfect comeback track for Big Bang, who faced a difficult year in 2011 but are now ready to make their comeback as a stronger unit.

Leessang‘s Gary has firmly stated that the ‘Monday Couple’ will not come to an end.

On February 19th, SBS aired the latest episode of ’Running Man‘, which was recorded right after the media broke news of Song Ji Hyo‘s relationship with the CEO of her agency.

The members began to talk about the past love line between Kim Jong Kook and Yoon Eun Hye, and slowly moved over to talk about the Monday Couple. Ji Suk Jin slyly said, “We need a new love line now,” to which Gary shouted, “It’s not over yet! Monday is not over yet.”

Laughing, the other members replied, “Your love line is over too“, causing Gary to hotly respond, “I drank for three days by myself.”

On February 20th, Swizz Beatz held a press conference at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul to discuss the growing impact of K-Pop on the global music industry.

Swizz Beatz revealed,

“I think Korea’s K-pop is a kind of expression. The world is looking for something new and K-pop is a new trend. I want to play a part in making Korean music known worldwide.

As I travel around the world, I learn about the sound of each country. I’m not only interested in hip hop, but other musical genres as well. For Korean artists, I think KARA, Big Bang, 2NE1, and BoA (among other musicians) have many strengths. K-pop is an opportunity, and the future is bright.“

When asked about the potential for K-pop in the American pop music market, Swizz Beatz said,

“Although Korean people are accustomed to American pop music, K-pop may be unfamiliar to American people. However, the world’s hearts are open to music. K-pop has great potential. I think if 2NE1 and Rihanna got together, the effect would be great.“

Swizz Beatz has worked with top-tier artists such as Jay-Z, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Kanye West, U2, and many others. He currently has a business partnership with Korea’s Omen Media and has a new project in the works.

KARA's Park Gyuri has been diagnosed with Vocal Chord Nodule and needs to halt activities and undergo surgery.

According to KARA's agency, Park Gyuri will be receiving surgery and treatment this coming 21st of February for her vocal chord nodule. In her situation, she need's to get surgery or else it will be difficult for her to be working as a singer. Park Gyuri has been working hard and the situation has piled up.

Park Gyuri has been active promoting domestic and oversea's. She is also part of a musical and she has been flying to and from Korea and Japan and now are having their first ever Asian Tour, with their very busy schedule, A surgery needs to be done. She has already been diagnosed with vocal chord nodule November Last and has been treated.

She needs about 3 months of recovery after her surgery and she will be undergoing a rehabilitation and treatment until their next concert in April in Japan for their Asian tour.

In a recent episode of KBS’s ‘Happy Together 3‘, the couples from ‘Ojakgyo Brothers’ appeared as guests on the show.

During the show’s ‘O-X’ talk session, Joowon and UEE both held up ‘O’ signs when they were asked, “If the person next to me asked to date (in real life), I’d be willing to do so”, and “I think that we both match each other very well”.

The couple continued to showcase their affection for one another after they got hit by a water gun, causing Joowon to pat dry UEE’s face. MC Shin Bong Sun responded by swooning in jealousy.

Joowon explained, “It’s like a job obligation that we have for each other”. UEE continued, “It was the first time for me to film couple scenes for a drama, so while filming those scenes, emotions started to slowly build up. For example, there was a scene when oppa wore a suit, I realized how great guys looked while wearing a suit”. She then added,  ”But I’m an idol (so I can’t date)”.

MC Park Myung Soo nudged the two by asking, “When will you guys start dating?”. MC Park Mi Sun added, “What happens after a drama ends is the most important part“.

After watching this segment, netizens commented, “At this rate, won’t the two date for real?” and “They do match each other very well”.

Earlier this month,  SBS‘s ‘Healing Camp‘ paid a visit to YG Entertainment‘s office, where they interviewed Big Bang about their past 2,000 days together as a popular five member group. The boys even revealed hidden stories that have never been brought to light.

During the interview, Seungri shared a shocking secret about Daesung. “After Daesung’s body became really fit from working out, he liked to be naked..there was even a time when he passed through airport immigration naked.”

Another hidden story revealed how T.O.P mischievously made Taeyang desire an Olympic Gold medal.

Aside from stories, T.O.P, Seungri, and Taeyang showed off their cooking skills as they prepared a special meal for G-Dragon and Daesung. Additionally, a special surprise gift to the members will be revealed.
